Digital era of companies

I worked for a few years in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in London, and there I found that the training I had received at Deusto was the same as the level at the best European universities. I studied an MBA at the University of Stanford from 2005 to 2007, and since then I have worked in the digital sector, working in all kinds of positions in several start-ups. I set up Gemssy Technologies 3 years ago, a Bilbao start-up from which we launch and participate in all kinds of digital projects. These are some of our projects: www.gemfeed.com, www.jobartis.com, www.educartis.com and www.epolitic.org.

I strongly believe that the new Bachelor’s Degree in Management in Digital Environments is a great option. The new digital environment offers many career opportunities for workers in companies and also for the self-employed. Nowadays, there are virtually no comprehensive academic programs covering aspects as diverse as digital marketing, big data and new global business models that are replacing other older models. The University of Deusto has moved to the forefront in the academic world with this program and I wish them every success.
